Student Organizations

Technology Education Collegiate Association (TECA)

The Technology Education Collegiate Association (TECA) is the pre-professional organization for technology education majors.  TECA students develop professional leadership skills by volunteering for department events, working for Habitat for Humanity, interacting with junior high and high school students, and attending conferences.  They develop knowledge of the curriculum through participation in TECA competitive events.

TECA members compete in Midwest TECA Regional Competitions as well as at the international level. TECA members have won 29 awards since 1996. For more information please visit the Illinois State University TECA Web site.
