The following is a listing of scholarships that are available for construction management students and the application/contact information is listed as well.
College sophomores and juniors enrolled or planning to enroll in a full-time, four year ACCE-accredited construction management program are eligible to apply. Renewable scholarships are worth $2,500 per year for each year of undergraduate study, up to a maximum of $6,000. Over 100 new scholarships are awarded each year. Best of all, there is no application fee. Find the AGC Foundation Scholarship Application online and submit it before the November 1 deadline.
Awards up to $2,500 are available. They are awarded annually to full-time students with preference given to applicants who demonstrate their interest in residential construction. A minimum GPA of 2.5 is required. Application information will be announced by the Construction Management faculty annually when available.
Award $2,500 plus an internship with Centex Homes. Must be a full-time student in a 4-year housing related programs such as construction management. Application information will be announced by the Construction Management faculty annually when available.
Amount varies up to $500. Applicant must be scholastically responsible with a cumulative GPA of 2.0 or better. Preference given to students interested in a career in building code administration. Application deadline July 1. Contact Troy Sondgeroth at the Town of Normal.
Award $1,000. Candidates must be a construction management major and interested (but not limited to) a career in design, construction, or concrete materials. Based on merit. Application information will be announced by the Construction Management faculty annually when available.
Awards up to $5,000 annually to an active member of a NAHB Student Chapter. Applicants must have at least one full academic year of coursework. Submit the Lee S. Evans Scholarship application online by the deadline of December 1.
Award $2,500 to an Illinois State construction management student interested in pursuing a career in mechanical contracting. Application information will be announced by the Construction Management faculty annually when available.
This is a national awards program, variable awards annually ranging from $500 to $1,500 grants. Candidates must be a full-time students who are in their first, second, or third year in architecture, or construction management. Selection based on grades, interest in construction, extra-curricular activities, employment experience, academic advisor evaluations, and financial need. Administers scholarships for undergraduate students studying residential construction and related fields. The National Housing Endowment, together with individual and corporate support, is committed to the future of the building industry by creating educational opportunities for students across the country. Provide a minimum $1,000 award to students who are residents of Illinois and interested in careers in residential construction. The application can be found at www.aboutrcec.org and the deadline is in early March.

Awards are for up to $20,000 annually for a child or grandchild of an SME member. Applicants may be either graduating high school seniors or undergraduate students with fewer than 30 credit hours. Amount varies up to $500. Number of Scholarships varies. The Donald I. Kaufman Scholarships, sponsored by North American Die Casting Association (NADCA) Chicago Chapter five, are awarded for up to two years to qualified students who have completed one full year of college-level or graduate study. Grade transcripts for each scholarship year must be sent to the Scholarship Review board for a student to maintain eligibility for both years. An application must include a current transcript, SAT or ACT scores, and a completed application form. Application information will be announced by the IMS coordinator when available.
Award $1,000. Number of Scholarships varies. The scholarships are sponsored by the Association for Facilities Engineers and are awarded based on GPA, extracurricular involvement, and behavior patterns that embody the principles of professionalism.
