Description of the Major

The Renewable Energy undergraduate major is a broad-based program addressing the social, economic, and technical issues that graduates will encounter in the emerging field of renewable energy. Students will be able to choose between two tracks - a technology track or an economics/public policy track

Renewable Energy is an interdisciplinary curriculum that provides students with a background in physical sciences, mathematics, technology, economics, safety and management.

Salaries vary from urban, suburban and rural positions; however, the average starting salary is $45,000 with a range of upper 30's to low 50's.
