The Department of Technology

The Department of Technology offers students a four-year Bachelor of Science in Industrial Technology in the following sequences: Construction Management, Engineering Technology, Graphic Communications and Industrial Computer Systems. We also offer a four-year Bachelor of Science in Renewable Energy and Technology Education.

The department also offers master's degree programs in Project Management, Technology Education, and Training and Development. To learn more about each course and read the description, go to the Illinois State catalog.

The department is comprised of 25 faculty members and approximately 500 students. Classes range from 20–30 students and have many activity-oriented laboratory assignments. Our computer network has over 200 computers with modern, state-of-the-art equipment in our classrooms and laboratories. Our students have the opportunity to do an internship or a co-op experience while here at Illinois State University.

Illinois State University is located in Bloomington-Normal, Ill., which is about 135 miles from Chicago, Rockford, and the Quad Cities and about 165 miles from St. Louis.
